Seven Colorado people nabbed in meth investigationEastern Colorado Plains Drug Task Force officers arrested seven people on drug and other warrants Friday.
The Colorado task force, consisting of officers from the Fort Morgan, Colorado and Brush Police Departments and the Morgan County, Colorado Sheriff's Office, served warrants on charges ranging from methamphetamine sales and possession to marijuana possession and weapon possession, Colorado Lt. Al Forbes said.
Joshua Rowell, 23, Fort Morgan, Colorado is being held without bond for methamphetamine sales, marijuana possession and possession of a weapon.
Jose Rodriguez, 34, Thomas Anderson, 37, Frederico Lopez, 27, Kimberly Lewis, all of Fort Morgan, and Rebeca Vargas, 30, and Mickey Neiman, 37, both of Brush, are all being held on $25,000 bond for methamphetamine sales and possession at Morgan County, Colorado Jail.
The arrests were made after an undercover operation led by the task force from April 13 to May 21 yielded enough information to produce warrant arrests on the seven individuals, Forbes said.
Although the arrests were made at approximately the same time and some of the arrests may be related to one another, there is not a clear-cut indication that all seven of the suspects are connected, he added.
